I flew into Baltimore a few days before the contest so that I could do
some press prior to the contest. Boy was that an understatement I spent
3 days waking up at 7:30 in the morning and then practicing at night a
few hours until finally tapping out just past midnight. I also was asked to throw out the first pitch at the Orioles game one night and that was amazing( I threw the heat right down the pipe). Just when I thought having a contest in my home town would be so sick with all the press. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be on me (check my schedule out).

Well I guess being that busy did me good and kept my mind off of the
contest because when it became time to ride I had such a blast. I loved
looking out into the crowd and seeing endless amounts of signs bearing
my name and friends that were blasts from the past. As if winning wasn't
enough in my home town I was given the Pride of Baltimore Award. What an
awesome weekend and just to let you know I did celebrate by taking my
family to DisneyWorld. Thanks Costas for the great crabs!
